Haditha Massacre

LA Times: Photographs taken by a Marine intelligence team have convinced investigators that a Marine unit killed as many as 24 unarmed Iraqis, some of them "execution-style," in the insurgent stronghold of Haditha after a roadside bomb killed an American in November, officials close to the investigation said Friday.

Winning the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people as our American troops loose their own. Although there is no justification for the atrocities committed, one must pause to see that our troops are stuck in a war built on lies with no clear exit. And the only thought swimming in their minds is will I ever make it home.
